Ethan Lai

Ethan Lai, 17, is a student passionate about technology and creativity. He loves playing games and exploring the mechanisms behind virtual worlds. In this Al&Art course, he has been experimenting with Al tools to create images, videos, and games. This project is his first attempt to combine these skills into a complete work of art—a short film generated by Al. The work humorously depicts the coexistence of humans and Al.

Our project is an animated short film. The story goes like this: One day, I received a package containing a life-enhancing robot that disrupted my normal routine. While this AI assistant helped me with many things, it also caused me some trouble. When I tried to throw it away, I realized how much it had become an integral part of our lives.
