Grasping Emotions

Final Project

Grasping Emotions is an interactive website that uses a claw machine simulation to help users explore and reflect on their feelings. Much like a real claw machine—where grabbing a prize is unpredictable and often out of reach—our emotions can sometimes feel difficult to grasp or name. This experience mirrors that process, where each grab reveals a unique feeling, offering insights and prompts that encourage emotional awareness and personal understanding. This emotional awareness and personal understanding provide an opening towards the future, showing how emotion management and understanding influence our thoughts, behaviors, and overall well-being. Emotions are powerful drivers of our actions, shaping how we perceive the world, make decisions, and perceive others.
